Superior National Forest Fall Color 9/18/13

Superior National Forest reports the following current conditions for fall foliage on 9/18/13.

A rainy morning in the Forest as a warm front pushes north.  Migrating birds are probably pausing for a south moving frontal system. A dusting of yellow leaves are on the ground, but in the trees, color is still hard to find. Understory plants continue to fade into yellows, reds, and browns.  About 5% color.
