Bar-Tailed Godwit Can Deal With Client Change

The Bar-tailed Godwit migrates 10,000 kilometers form Alaska to New Zealand every fall. Winds may be less favorable to the Godwits as climate changes. However, their ability to choose the right tailwinds to start their long journey should help them adapt.

Of greater concern to Bar-tailed Godwits is the loss of habitat. As some of their feeding grounds are destroyed they may have more problems refueling.
