DesertUSA has the following Arizona wildflower reports:
Usery Mountain Regional Park reports: Wildflowers, shrubs, and cacti currently blooming in the park include buckhorn cholla cactus, chuparosa, creosote, desert globemallow, desert lavender, desert marigold, gilia, goldfields, prickly pear cactus, ratany, saguaro cactus, strawberry hedgehog cactus, and trixis.
Saguaro National Park East reports: reports: The cactus flowering season is now under way. Most noticeable now along the Scenic Cactus Forest Drive are the yellow blossoms of the Prickly Pear and the orange to red blooms of Staghorn Cholla. At least a few Saguaro blossoms have been reported — the Arizona State Flower’s main season is still a few weeks away. Also, the tropical Ocotillo is still in full bloom, with its bright red flowers.
