Williamson County Texas Wildflower Report 4/19/13

Texas Wildflower Sightings has the following report for Williamson County:

San Gabriel Park, Georgetown: Large displays of prairie poppy mallow on the disc golf course between baskets 1 and 9 (eastern edge of the park).

Round Rock/Pflugerville: On Heatherwilde just south of Toll Road 45, there are two large fields with greenthread, Engelmann daisies, verbena and wooly white.

Hutto, SH 130: Mixed displays including bluebonnets, gaillardia, pink primrose, foxglove, Texas dandelion, Engelmann daisies and verbena.

Weir: Roadside bluebonnets and several sizable patches of huisache daisies emerging along CR 156 north of FM 971.

Granger Lake: A few large patches of bluebonnets at Friendship Park. Long, solid strips of bluebonnets along with pink primrose on the grassy slope just beneath the dam.

Thrall: Two large fields with ~50% bluebonnet coverage on CR 420 just north of town.
