Gary Regner Photography has the following wildflower report update for Ennis Texas for  April 18, 2013:

Best bluebonnets I’ve seen this year, but only average compared to previous years. Peak will be soon, grasses are beginning to take over.

IH 45 from Corsicana to Ennis – thick bluebonnets along road, some paintbrush. Large fields of bluebonnets after you cross into Ellis county.

Mach Rd – some nice coverage, but an average year only.

Sugar Ridge Rd – less coverage than usual.

FM 660 – some nice fields along this road.
