Puerto Rico Law Protects Leatherback Turtles

BBC Nature reported that Puerto Rico has introduced  a law that will protect a 14 sq km (5.4 sq miles) of the island’s coast highly endangered Leatherback Turtles. This area the Northeast Ecological Corridor is a major nesting site for the turtles.
