Joshua Tree Wildflower Report 4/13/13

Joshua Tree National Park Blooming Wildflowers as of April 13, 2013

Mojave yucca are blooming in great profusion and Joshua trees are forming seedpods. Various species of cactus are beginning to bloom throughout the park. While wildflowers are spreading, they remain very patchy and many plants and flowers are very small.  Watch for snakes and tortoises on park roads and trails. Please do not touch or disturb animals in the park.
