Natural History Wanderings

DesertUSA had the following report for Jacksonville Woodlands in Oregon:

Henderson’s Fawnlily (Erythronium hendersonii) Found in the Jacksonville Woodlands, Jackson County Oregon. Nikon D7000, Nikkor 18-200mm. This my first outing this year. We had a wet early winter and a dry late winter; April is cool and wet. Fawnlillies are nearly done but lots of shots and buds of other species coming along.
