Table Mt. and Buttermilk Bend 3/29/23

Calphoto has a new wildflower report for Table Mt. and Buttermilk Trail

On the Buttermilk trail, which is still a little early, we counted over 25 different wildflowers, many of which are labeled along the trail. It still seems rather dry and there weren’t any huge displays, but the variety was great.

Table Mountain was in full bloom yesterday… It’s really gorgeous, with large swaths of lupine and goldfields, as well as other yellow flowers. Table Mountain is a “lava plug” so there are lots of interesting rocks around the area. I think it may stay in bloom for another couple of weeks, especially if we get a little more rain.
