After a morning of birding at Miller Knox, we spent the afternoon with friends birding Eastshore State Park in Berkeley. It had gotten cold and windy and no herring run so the total birds seen were smaller than this morning. The greater variety habitat however meant we still found 36 species. Only one of the Burrowing Owls made an appearance today. There was a large numbers of Black Turnstones and we also found a Black-tailed Jackrabbit.
