Oregon Wildflowers  just posted the following wildflower update for Catherine Creek for 02/09/2013.

The grass widows (Sisyrincium douglasii var. douglasii) are starting to bloom everywhere, especially south of the highway. Within two weeks the meadows should be covered with them.
