Birds And Humans Share Similar Response To Music

In a recent study White-throated Sparrows’ nervous systems responded to music in ways that are very similar to humans. They found that females when they heard the songs of males their nervous systems responded similar to ours when listen to music we like. They found that when male birds heard the songs of other males their nervous systems responded similar to how ours responds when we hear music we don’t like.
