Great Smoky Wildflower Trail Report Report 7/23/12

Great Smoky Mountains Association posted the following wildflower bloom update for July 23, 2012

Hannah Mountain Trail from Parson’s Branch Road (first five and a half miles) – Yellow Fringed Orchid, Coreopsis, Reclining Saint Andrew’s Cross, Star Grass, Tick Trefoil, and Curtiss Milkwort.  Note:  74 blow downs on this section of this trail – some very difficult to cross, crawl under, or bypass.   Do not recommend this trail at this time.
