The Sacramento Bee reported that Sacramento has decided to scale back a solar panel project at Sutter’s Park. Although the project was to create green energy, it created other environmental problems.  The park is a key feeding ground for threatened Swainson’s Hawks. The tall grass is where the Hawks feed on mice. The solar panels would have hidden the grass and mice.
