On May 7 I wrote a post on the series of investigative articles that the Sacramento Bee did on the abuses of the Wildlife Services branch of the federal Department of Agriculture in the post Investigation Of Wildlife Service’s Brutal Killing Of Wildlife. They had found the Wildlife Services Agency had
- used brutal killing methods
- killed many unintended victims including protected species, pets and even humans have died as part of the program
- a harmful effect on biodiversity, degrade habitat and invite disease
- secretive and at times possibly illegal actions
