Crested Butte Wildflower Report 5/6/12

Crested Butte, home of the Wildflower Festival reports

With less snowfall than average this winter, we are seeing spring and early summer conditions. The trails are melting out and early season wildflowers are blooming.

What’s Blooming: Glacier Lilies, Ball Cactus, Spring Beauties, Marsh Marigolds, Marsh Buttercups, Dwarf Bluebells and Candy Tuft

The wildflower festival is July 9 to 15 this year. For more information about the festival go to: Wildflower Festival
