Natural History Wanderings

This year’s San Diego Bird Festival March 1-4, 2012.  The banquet keynote speaker is Kenn Kaufman.  There will be workshops, field trips, social mixers, keynote banquet, silent auction, and Birding & Optics EXPO are returning in 2012. The field trips will go to all areas of San Diego County.  Destinations include the desert and mountains, lake and lagoons, and four pelagic trips. There are special events for families and children on Sunday, March 4. Kid-friendly activities include a Beginning Bird Art Workshop, the Raptor Rap Workshop, and a Bird Calling Workshop.
