Birding Jewel Lake Area Of Tilden

I did a short bird walk  in the Jewel Lake area of Tilden Park in Berkeley today.  I was able to identify a Red-shouldered Hawk, Dark-eyed Junco, Spotted Towhee, Turkey Vulture, Raven, Stellar Jay, Bufflehead, and American Coot.  There were others but I only got quick looks and couldn’t succeed in naming them.  It would have been helpful to have more skill in bird calls as many birds were singing.  I did get a few photos and especially liked photographing the Spotted Towhee.
