The 32nd Annual Klamath Falls Winter Wings Festival takes place in the Klamath Basin from February 17 to 19 this year. Key note speakers are Kenn Kaufman and Darrell Gulin. The Klamath Basin is known as a winter residence for hundreds of Bald Eagles, numerous raptors, and thousands of ducks, geese and swan. There will be many birding and nature related activities including talks, field trips, workshops and min-sessions. The Winter Wings Festival is sponsored by the Klamath Basin Audubon Society and is the longest running bird festival in the nation. Pre-registration is required for many of the programs and spaces are limited so register early. For more information, to see the full schedule and registration go to: http://www.winterwingsfest.org/
