I was up at 5:20 am to see the Lunar Eclipse today. I headed toward Cesar Chavez Park hoping to get a photo of the Eclipse with the Golden Gate Bridge. That wasn’t going to happen. There was a thick low-level fog and except for one light the bridge was not visible. I was able to see the moon high in the sky from home and when I first arrived at Cesar Chavez just before six. By 6:30 AM the moon was completely invisible as it had sunk into the fog. I did get a few photos but nothing that I was happy with. I will post some links later today to some better photos on the web. The photo on the right is my best effort. It was still definitely worth getting up just to see it.
