The San Francisco Supervisors have voted to have the National Park Service manage Pacifica’s Sharp Park. The park service would make the park part of Golden Gate National Recreation area and would replace the golf course with a natural habitat restoration. The park is home to the threatened California red-legged frog and the endangered San Francisco garter snake. It is unknown if the Mayor Ed Lee will sign or veto the measure.
