Pattern Of Child Abuse In Bird Families

Having worked professionally with child abuse and domestic violence, I often observed that abusers were abused as children.  The same is true for birds. Recent findings on bird child abuse was reported in the Ornithology Journal The Auk.  Wake Forest University researchers presented evidence that Naxca Boobies who were abused when they were young were more likely to become abusers as adults than birds who were not abused when young.
