Mono Lake State Reserve To Stay Open

Thanks to the efforts of the Bodie Foundation, Mono Lake State Reserve will stay open.  The non-profit will provide staffing to collect a $3 parking fee at the State Park on the western shore of Mono Lake ( no fee is now charged).  The fees will go to pay for park staff and maintenance. Mono Lake State Reserve is one of the 70 state parks scheduled to close due to state funding cutbacks.
