Exmoor Park Is Europe’s First Dark Sky Reserve

Dark Sky Diary has an article announcing that Exmoor National Park  in England is the first International Dark Sky Reserve in Europe.  The low levels of light pollution and regular clear nights make Exmoor a great place for star-gazing. California readers might be interested to know that in 2008 that Borrego Springs was designated the second Dark Sky Community. Flagstaff, Arizona was the first. To learn more about dark sky efforts go to the International Dark Sky Association.
