Natural History Wanderings Post Number 1000

I find it astonishing that I have managed to write 1000 posts in a little over a year and half. I find Natural History Wanderings’s direction is determined literally by my own wanderings in the field, wanderings around the internet (who and what I read and follow) and my the great input  from comments, questions, suggestions, and wanderings of my readers. I would especially like to thank the frequent commenters, fellow bloggers, nature photographers, Native Plant Society members, Audubon members and Park Service staff who have submitted many field reports and ideas.

I would like to hear from readers about what they like and suggestions for future content. I also strongly encourage you to submit your own wanderings. If you don’t already subscribe or follow Natural History Wanderings, you can do so my clicking on “click to subscribe” under Email Subscription in the right column or clicking on this RSS feed link: RSS Feed RSS – Posts

Thanks for visiting Natural History Wanderings.

I look forward to “hearing” from you every day! Many times I’ve been able to forward some of your comments, ideas and photos to others, according to their interests. I loved it when a trip I had planned to the Eastern Sierra “followed” yours by a few days. I’m so thankful for (and a little jealous of) your wanderings, Sandy. Looking forward to the next thousand!

Thanks for the steady stream of natural history related updates. Although most postings are northern California related, I am in southern California, I still enjoy being up to date on what’s happening.
I travel all over California to photograph wildflowers and landscapes, your updates are helpful and interesting.

Thanks. I try to include Southern California when I get information. My field trips and most people I know are up in the north end. Feel free to send me any Southern California updates and I will be glad to post them.
