Birding Albany Waterfront – Updated 9/18/11

This week I started a shorebirds birding class through Audubon and Albany Adult School. Our first field trip was to the Albany Waterfront including Albany Bulb. We birded mudflats and rocky shorelines. We saw a good number of species including the Common Murre.  Here are a few photos and my bird list.  I mostly focused on looking at birds with binoculars and scopes but did take a few photos with a compact camera.
