Rare Common Ringed Plover In Davis, CA

A Common Ringed Plover, Charadrius hiaticula,  has been spotted in the City of Davis Wetlands.  This is only the fourth time a Common Ringed Plover has been seen in the lower 48 states and the first time in the west. Read more at  Hundreds flock to Davis to see rare bird – Outbound – sacbee.com.
