A Late Wildflower Bloom At Mt. Rainier’s Paradise Meadow

Sally’s Blog at http://mtrainierphotos.com/blog/?p=4238 is predicting a very late wildflower bloom at Mt Rainier’s Paradise  Meadow. On August 7 she reported that parts of the meadow have finally melted but other spots still have as much as three feet of snow.  Some areas may not  bloom until as late as the beginning of September.

Lower elevations at Mt. Rainer are now in bloom. Sally reports there is a very good bloom along Steven’s Canyon past reflection Lake.  Check her blog for wildflower bloom updates: Sally’s Blog
