The Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust’s Dyfi Osprey Project reported that Osprey have bred in the Dyfi Valley at a Powys Nature Preserve in the UK. The last report of Osprey breeding in the Dyfi valley is believed to be over 400 years ago in 1604. They were born in a manmade nest atop a fifty foot pole. The three chicks, two male and one female, have been fitted with radio trackers in hopes of tracking their flight to wintering grounds in Africa. To read more go to these articles at the BBC website:
