Check National Geographic Article: “Spectacular” Double Meteor Shower This Week

Delta Aquarids Meteor Shower Starting; Northern Hemisphere Peaks August 13 and 14, Southern July 29 to 30

In the northern hemisphere the Delta Aquarid meteor shower takes place July 16 to September 10. It will peak August 13 to 14  with a maximum  rate of up to 10 meteors per hour.

In the Southern Hemisphere the Delta Aquarid meteor shower is from  July 14 to August 18.  The Southern Hemisphere peak will be July 29 to 30 at a maximum of 15 to 20 meteors per hour.
