Expanding Feral Pig Problem in San Diego County

There have been a number of articles about the growth of the feral pig population in San Diego County and their destruction of native habitat.  State and  federal officials are working with the Barona band of Mission Indians and the Viejas band of Kumeyaay Indians on developing a regional plan to reduce the pig population.  There are many groups representing different points of view on the problem who would like input including government agencies,  native tries, hunters and PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals).  To learn more go to:
