Great Snipe The World’s Fastest Long Distance Flyer

The Great Snipe Gallinago media  is the fastest long-distance flyer of any bird.  A Great Snipe can be capable of a flying a single  96 hours 4000 mile trip without stopping or sleeping.  They can achieve speeds averaging 50 miles.
