Marin County CNPS just posted the following reports for the Big Rock area of Lucas Valley  by Sue “Mazer” Mace:

May 13, 2011 Sue “Mazer” Mace reports: “Lucas Valley Road west of big rock, partial list (most along southside of road) – Red Larkspur (Delphinium nudicaule), Iris (white),paintbrush, CowParsnip, Woodland Star, Solomans seal, Chinese houses, Ceanothus (pale blue), bee plant, nighthshade
“Loma Alto Open Space at Big Rock – Owls clover, Tidy tips, Jewelflower (abundant),Clover, California poppy, Seep spring Monkeyflower, Indian pink, Madia, Tarweed, Fringepod, Blue Eyed grass, Linanthus, Gilia, Cream cups, Hill Lotus
