The WINTER WINGS FESTIVAL will be held in Klamath Falls, Oregon February 18 to 20, 2011
Klamath Falls hosts this festival at the Oregon Institute of Technology, which celebrates the return of Bald Eagles and other raptors and wintering flocks of waterfowl to the Klamath Basin. The Basin is home to the
largest concentration of wintering Bald Eagles in the lower 48 states. There will be a variety of field trips, workshops, mini-sessions, free family activities, and special receptions. Key note speakers are writer, photographer and naturalist Jeffrey A. Gordon who is a field editor for Birdwatcher’s Digest and Art Morris, who is often recognized at the world’s top bird photographer.
