Petrosaurs are large flying reptiles.  Wired Science ran an article about a large pterosaur (Quetzalcoatlus northropi) that could fly ten thousand miles without stopping.  It was a giant pterosaur that was as tall as a giraffe, had a 33 foot wing span and lived over 65 million years ago.   The name Petrosaur means winged lizard.  To read more go to  Giant Pterosaurs Could Fly 10,000 Miles Nonstop.
