Jon Cornforth reports on the Outdoor Photographer Blog that there are lots of paintbrush and other flowers in bloom along the roads but that the lupine is only

beginning to bloom.   He believes the best bloom will happen in one or two weeks.

The bloom is on the late side this year as the Mt. Rainier had 140% of its normal snow pack. For information on where to see the flowers at Mt. Rainier check the  The News Tribune article: Mt. Rainier Awash in Wildflowers.

For more information on Rainier go the Mt Rainier National Park website.
