Plenty of flowers are in bloom at the Regional Parks Botanic Garden (Berkeley, CA). Clarkias are among the most impressive. Several Clarkia species are in bloom throughout the garden. Also the new rock mound in the desert section, which is featured in the summer 2010 issue of the Manzanita (newsletter of the friends of the garden), is very flowery. The garden is rarely crowded and is a good place to see and photograph late season California wildflowers. Many days are foggy this time of year providing nice even diffuse light for flower photography. Here is a short slideshow of some of what I saw.
