North American Butterfly Organization and Butterfly Counts

NABA  http://www.naba.org/ is the North American Butterfly Association.  It is largest group of people in North America interested in Butterflies.  Its mission is to help educate people about and preserve butterflies.  NABA sponsors butterfly counts, has publications and art and photo contests.  California has only two chapters, but has many local butterfly counts.

Mon., June 7-San Francisco Butterfly Count. Meet at the Randall Museum before heading out into the City. 9 am-5 pm. For more information, contact Liam O’Brien at Liammail56@yahoo.com. A $3 fee supports habitat conservation.
