Natural History Wanderings

A racetrack has been proposed for the land next to Antelope Valley property preserve.  Although it is outside the preserve, it is on land that has some of the best wildflowers in the area.  To build the racetrack requires rezoning the area and groups are organizing to opposed this.  For more information about what is happening and what you can do read the Wildflower Conservancy’s posting for May 12 and May 5.    http://www.wildflowerconservancy.org/
