Today/tonight is the equinox. It is when the sun crosses the equator and the day and night are of equal length. The celebratory sky show begins as soon as it gets dark. Look at the moon and you will find see it having an encounter with the Pleiades star cluster. For more information check out the following link: http://science.nasa.gov/headlines/y2010/19mar_equinox.htm?list28215 I discovered the sky show courtesy of Carol Leigh posting it on the Calphoto Yahoo discussion group.
