National Geographic reported on the discovery of a new flying frog in Vietnam. The Frog is named Helen’s Flying Frog after the mother of the amphibian biologist, Jodi Rowley who discovered the frog. The 3,5 inch frog displays the ability to parachute between trees and has aerodynamic adaptations such as large webbed feet and hands. There are about 80 species of flying frogs and due to these adaptations Helen’s Flyig Frog is one of the better flyers.
