California Fish and Wildlife names 2 new wolf packs discovered last year

The Press Democrat  reports

After disappearing from the state for nearly a century, gray wolf populations continued to flourish in northeastern California last year, according to a report out this week from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife.

In its quarterly report, the department announced that it had identified and named two new wolf packs, the Beyem Seyo pack in Plumas County and the Harvey pack in Lassen County.
