Celebrating Women in Parks:  Vice President Kamala Harris

From East Bay Regional Parks

On the final day of Women’s History Month, read how in 2013, then-Attorney General Kamala Harris strongly advocated to stop the sale of a 3.89 acre parcel of land in Alameda to a private developer, ensuring that the property became part of Crown Memorial State Beach. Congratulations to Bay Area native Kamala Harris on her groundbreaking achievement of becoming our first woman Vice President!
