Audubon summarizes recent environmental policy actions and the possible impact

Many Americans rightly spent last week reflecting on issues of race and equity, so it’s possible to have missed the good, the bad, and the ugly environmental policy news out of Washington, D.C. We recap: an executive order that waives National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and Endangered Species Act (ESA) protections; the next step in the Interior Department’s attack on the Migratory Bird Treaty Act (MBTA); and an executive order opening the only marine national monument in the Atlantic Ocean to commercial fishing.
