Nest Quest Go! is officially launching its Northern Cardinal project on Zooniverse tomorrow. This collection of almost 4,000 Northern Cardinal nest records is the 8th project to be transcribed in an ongoing effort to digitize historical nest records from the Cornell Lab’s Nest Record Card Program which ran from the 1960s to the early 2000s. Join in the fun and see nesting data for these colorful winter wonders, collected by devoted citizen scientists like you. Zooniverse is easy to use and does not require creating a username or password. A couple of transcriptions a day goes a long way in helping us access more data that can be used to help protect birds.
