Growers Using Lasers To Chase Off Birds

NPR reportes on how growers are using lasers to chase off birds that are eating their crops. Previously they had used falcons to chase off the birds. They claim the falcons were less reliable and more expensive. What is not know is whether the lasers are harmful to the birds retinas.
