Marin County Wildflowers 4/28/16

The Marin County CNPS Facebook page has two wildflower reports today

Hiked between Big Rock and Loma Alta today thanks to Marianka’s post. Many species on display including delphiniums, columbines, white jewelflowers and a profusion of flax on one hilltop. Beautiful day but a bit windy.

Carson Ridge, Below Carson Falls, Big Trees area.  Nice mash up at serpentine barren above upper Carson Falls: Leptosiphon androsaceus, Minuartia douglasii, Clarkia gracilis, Phacelia divaricata (blue), Eschscholzia californica, and Epilobium minutum..

See photos, more information on these hikes and older posts at Marin Native Plants
