Big Bend National Park Wildflowers 4/27/16

Big Bend National Park reports

Blooming now! Tree cholla (Cylindropuntia imbricata) have knobby green stems which can store water, allowing this species to bloom even in our current dry conditions. The bright pink flowers are great pollinator attractants.
