Birding Golden Gate Park 11/1/15

Yesterday I went birding on a Golden Gate Audubon field trip at the San Francisco Botanical Garden in Golden Gate Park

I saw or heard 30 bird species. Group members also saw Cooper’s Hawk and House Wren.

Anna’s Hummingbirds were very abundant. I was doing a patch survey of Hummingbirds at Home and had 23 observations (some may have been of the same bird). No other Hummers were seen by group members

I also saw a Monarch Butterfly and a number of Eastern Gray Squirrels.
