San Juan National Forest  reports

Estimated Percentage of Current Fall Foliage:
Durango to Purgatory – 5%
Molas Pass – 5%
Silverton/Red Mountain Pass – 15%
Pagosa – 5%
Dolores to Rico – 5%
Mancos – 5%

Areas with Greatest Amount of Color / Recommended Viewing Areas:
Silverton
Red Mountain Pass

Estimated Peak Viewing Period:
Elevation above 11,000 feet. Getting better next weekend.

Viewing Suggestions / Tips:
Go up higher for now.

Trees That Are Currently Turning Color:
Aspens and a bit of the oak.
